bulletin board - prehistory

It is difficult to find bulletin boards for high school classrooms.  I decided to create a bulletin board on prehistory and the start of civlization by making question cards.  For each card, the question is on the front and then can be lifted up to see the answer.  My students seemed to enjoy this bulletin board and often stopped to look at questions and check answers.

introduction and purpose

Blogging about my classroom is something that I have been thinking about for the last year.  I work as a High School Social Studies teacher.  This is my ninth year as a teacher and I love it as much this year as I did when I started.  I have learned so much over the years about working with high school students and teaching history.  The purpose of my blog is to record and reflect on the instructional practices in my classroom, as well as; the fun and joy that comes from working with high school students.
